The San Salvador Volcano is a prominent stratovolcano located in El Salvador. It's part of a chain of volcanoes in the region and stands at approximately 1,913 meters (6,308 feet) tall.

Here, Fernando Alfaro and his family have transformed the Miramar farm to produce boutique micro lots for the specialty coffee market.

Using a family-secret recipe that begins with ripe arabigo and bourbon cherries, the coffee undergoes a 192-hour controlled fermentation with specific cultures, is dried on raised beds for around 30 days, and rested for at least 60 days before secondary processing.
