Finca Santa Maria de Lourdes, is a stunning 40-hectare natural mountain forest owned by Octavio Peralta since 1970, has a rich history.
After being a war zone, the area was cleared of mines by the UN in the late 1980s. Octavio then dedicated himself to restoring its exceptional coffee production, since 1994. Of the 80 hectares available, 40 are dedicated to enhancing the natural habitat, earning the farm Rainforest Alliance certification for its conservation efforts.
The farm supports 60 permanent workers and 150 seasonal pickers during harvests, with a well-equipped kitchen to cater to their needs.
