What is Cascara, you ask?

Well, what we refer to as coffee beans are essentially the seeds within the coffee cherry fruit. These seeds are extracted by peeling off the cherry. The cherry skin or husk, which is a by-product of the coffee processing, holds value beyond waste or compost.

In Bolivia, coffee producers diligently dry and sort the husks, treating them with the same care and attention as the coffee seeds themselves. Consequently, these husks are transformed into a delightful fruit tea that has a caramel-creamy body and gentle notes of cherries. Yum!
